Beautiful indeed.
Thanks Dinu!
We used to have a flock come and strip our mountain ash (rowan) of berries most winters when I lived in Kingston.
Absolutely lovely photos. Thanks so much for sharing them.
This was the first time I have ever seen these birds, lucky you to have had them most winters. Thanks for your compliment.
Stunning set of images. Really beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Thank you Paul, I really appreciate it.
Beautiful pictures as usual. Such a pretty bird, I remember seeing the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks when I lived up north, but I don't think I have seen an Evening Grosbeak.
Well now you have and you did great with your shots
. Rose breasted is on my list to see this Spring.
my goodness.....amazing shots! Such beautiful birds.
Thanks Gary, they really are so beautiful.
Lovely series! I especially like that you have shown the underappreciated beauty of the females. They don't usually get peoples attention with those flashy males around.
Thanks Brian, I think the females are just as pretty as the males. So subtle in their color but the feather detail is so nice. and the markings are just lovely.. But you are right, most folks prefer to photograph the males, not too many pics of the girls around. The boys shouldn't get all the attention!
Beautiful birds and from Meghan we cannot expect bad shots. Great DOF too. Congrats.
Thank you my friend ..really wonderful of you to say such a nice thing about me!
Beautiful shots - 2nd one is my favorite.
All great stuff as usual but the second one in the snow stands out for me.
See...the girls are stealing the show!
Thanks alot, one of my favorites as well from the day.
unbeliveable pics and clarity
Thanks Cosmo.
Gorgeous!
Where the hell have you been???
Nice to see/hear from you Irene.
Thanks so much for the compliment!
Thanks to everyone, I am so glad you all enjoyed these photographs.
