lol you mock me sir....and that vid proves my belief that the internet is a useless place.....I was having trouble making a burn barrel so I turned to the wise people of the internet...I googled "how to make holes in a burn barrel" --- before you think "well duh"...try it yourself and you'll see....anyway keep in mind I have slow speed internet....picture YouTube videos downloading.....each one I checked out took about 10 minutes.....and each video started very seriously with drills and hammers etc.....and ended with some dumb jerk shooting holes in the barrel.


Anyway I am a believer.....and I have found with Covid, it's been tough to track what's going on in the Bigfoot world and I was hoping there were like minded enlightened people like myself to share lol

I was off because of covid for 6 weeks during that time I was extremely bored.
I would surf You tube for things that I thought were interesting so to speak.
Back to work in May but on afternoon shift I would be on Youtube until  2 am
out of boredom after I got home. I started planning for retirement.

Congrats on your retirement.  Hope you get lots of birding and whatever else you like to do at your leisure!!!!!

Is that a Dash 8?  My husband worked on the ironbird for the Global Express in the mid-nineties.  He went on to work in R&D for jet engines.   Spent many hours in test cells, bird shots, etc.  He did instrumentation.

I think that is the first group photo that I have seen on this forum.Good shot, but it would be much better if there were a few women on board.All men working on a problem is ..... well, .... it's also a problem.Oh yes, of course, the sole women on the team is taking the picture becausenone of the dudes could figure out how to manage the camera.

Looking good NAPSTER lol congrats on your retirement.....ummm....I don't wanna burst your happy dreams but you'll soon see....retirement is BORING...it was tough being a civilian....I was all set to rejoin the fray after a few years of retirement and then stupid Covid hit....my re-entry is imminent now.

To answer your questions 
Yes, that is a Dash 8 400 being prepared for it's flight test program.This Bay/hanger is the original Iron-bird, fatigue and static test Bay/hanger converted to Pre-flight  & Delivery center.
There are 5 women who work in this Bay all on day shift. 1 is a licensed AME, 1 is a Licensed AME but working as a Category 1 inspector, 1 is a Interior technician , 1 is the Day Shift supervisor and 1 is a Senior Quality Log book Technician.  The young man who instigated this against my will and took some photo's is an AME, Supervisor night shift, Master's of Engineering working on an MBA at U of T is originally from Nigeria.
A Very small group of people work in this secured bay, 2 shifts and a weekend group.


AxemanI have too many things to do, fix and renovate. Stop by for a Cocktail in "Tiny", I think we will be there most of the Summer.
