Hey!!

Just a quik question.. I am sending my lens to "Gentec international" tomorrow for servicing :(  . They distribute and support "Sigma lenses" in Canada.

Has anyone dealt with them? Any issues ? good or bad.

Thanx..

Napper

P.s. If your focus motor starts squealing get it serviced, don't wait like the big procrastinator that I am.

f've used them a few times, for warranty repairs, and also for out-of-warranty repairs (broke my 120-300/2.8 in half).

They got things done very quickly and cheaply. EX lenses get very good service, usually 48hr turnaround.

I was sent to Gentec a couple of years ago for a tripod repair. The people I dealt with were very accommodating and really knew their stuff. Your lens should be in good hands!
