Thansk for the moon update, I awoke about 4am today and pulled me blinds up only to be temporarily blinded by the brightness of the moon!!! Literally, I left the blins up and lay there for a little and stared at it but could not for long. Wow was it ever bright.
Amazing how it lights up the whole city, eh?
It's really cool looking at it through binoculars as well. So much detail!
....... as long as I don't drink and stay in all will be fine.
p.s. - could you expand on why we should beware the full moon? I know a few reasons but wanted to hear yours. any stories?
Well, apparently "Axeman" goes outdoors and howls!
Seriously though, could literally go on for hours about weird things that people seem to do and say during Full Moon weeks! I've noticed each month for 3 days before and 3 days after a Full Moon, look out! At my ex-customer service job, I would always know a Full Moon was coming up when I would start receiving obscene phone calls, marriage proposals from total strangers, etc. Never a dull moment.
The ultimate Full Moon story that will make you laugh ... late 80's, Queen St. in Toronto. I was sitting by the window at a Pizza Pizza location, having dinner and watching the world go by. A drunk man walked up to a tree, started hugging and kissing it. He then decided to remove his clothing and try "mating" with the tree! The next second, 2 police officers show up and are chasing the naked man down Queen St. Somehow they managed to catch him, handcuff him and put the naked guy into the back seat of their cruiser.
